 Built in 2001 Sanjeeda is the latest in a direct line of seagoing vessels of a design which came to the Indian Ocean with Vasco Da Gama in his voyage of discovery to India in 1498, and was retained by Indian Kotiya Dhows ever since. At 91 foot long and 138 tonnes, Sanjeeda has 6 cabins and is staffed by a fully trained and licenced Captain and Crew, and Master Chef, stewards and barman.
