Accommodation at Shimoni Reef Lodge is - in many aspects - something really special. Each guest gets a small cottage and lots of privacy.
Firstly, the cottages themselves are designed so that they provide both privacy and a sense of freedom. Many of our clients find these bungalows exceptionally romantic (honeymooners love them and groups of friends find them very practical because of there large size). All cottages overlook the water and it takes just a minute to stroll to the pool or sea side verandah.

We only have nine cottages and one suite, so the lodge never feels full. With so few guests, our staff have all the time to give you personal service, attention, and you are away from the noise and stress of a big resort. The meals are taken on the zen like verandah overlooking the channel and with views of Tanzania , wasini island and the ocean. Our chefs provide an abundant supply of mouth-watering dishes that are a mixture of Swahili, zanzibari, Arabic, Indian and African tastes and satisfy both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
